Welcome to Fridgelist! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fridgelist mobile application ("App") operated by Fridgelist ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Fridgelist, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use our App.

2. Description of Service

Fridgelist is a family task management and gamification app that allows household members to:

Create and assign household tasks
Earn points for completing tasks
Compete on leaderboards
Trade tasks with other household members
Earn badges and achievements

3. Account Registration

To use Fridgelist, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your password
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Household Accounts

Fridgelist operates on a household model:

One adult must be the household administrator
Administrators can invite other members and create child accounts
Child accounts (users under 18) must be created by a parent/guardian
Administrators are responsible for managing household membership

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Create multiple accounts to manipulate the scoring system

6. Content and Data

You retain ownership of the content you create (tasks, household information). By using the App, you grant us a license to store and process this content to provide the service.

7. Points and Rewards

Points earned in Fridgelist:

Have no monetary value
Cannot be exchanged for cash or goods outside the App
May be adjusted if we detect abuse or system errors
Are specific to your household and cannot be transferred

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
Data will never be lost (please keep your own records)
The App will meet all your requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fridgelist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
